We must first take a dental impression (mold) of the tooth that we then send to a laboratory to make sure the crown fits perfectly. While waiting for the laboratory to make your crown, we place a temporary crown. This temporary crown is more fragile than your permanent crown. You must be careful eating to not damage or remove it.
